INTEGRATED RURAL DEVELOPMENT SERVICE ORGANISATION-IRDSO
The Integrated Rural Development Service Organization-IRDSO is a non-political, non-sectarian, non-profit making and non-governmental voluntary organization working for the cause of women. IRDSO works without regard for caste, race, community or religion.
IRDSO was established in the year 1986 by a group of dedicated social worker with the aim to provide help and opportunities of the rural people to integrate and promote co-operation, understanding and brotherhood. It is registered with the Societies Registration Act XXI of 1860. It is also registered with Foreign Contribution Regulation Act, 1976.
It is a platform for preparing and mainstreaming the communities especially for the women to be able to respond to developmental initiatives for the struggle for survival- economically, socially and environmentally so that the deprived class of community enjoys the fruit of human dignity resulting in transformation of their live and environment in which they live.
It is a women oriented organization. It emphasized in empowering women in issues like Economy, Political, Education and Cultural rights to help them in shaping their own destinies. It enhances to improve the status of women and support them in their struggle for existence against different forms of violence and atrocities.

VISION, MISSION & OBJECTIVES
VISION
Liberalisation of women from economic, social and cultural bondage. Also visualize a harmonious society where the poor and disadvantaged children gets an opportunity for a better education.
MISSION
To capacitate and strengthen the women by promoting programs which will help them in empowering for equality and provoke their innate skills and potentials into action.
OBJECTIVES
- To encourage the women in the participation of the socio-economic developmental activities.
- To involve the people specially the women and the youths in the construction of the society.
- To make a platform where the people specially the women can come together to employ themselves for economically self reliant and self sufficient.
- To promote general health of the rural community and adolescent health of the women in particular.
- To make children access to basic rights in terms of health care, education and other basic amenities.
- To rehabilitate disable section of the community to have a free space in the society.

GOVERNANCE
The organization is governed by its highest body called the General Body (GB) which comprised of 36 numbers of members which includes social activist, Intellectuals, Govt. Employees and where 23 members are women. Under the GB, there is the Executive Committee(EC) which comprised of only 7 members where 4 are women to execute the decisions of the General Body and other developmental activities. The Secretary is the overall sole authority authorized by the EC to execute the decisions of the EC.
